Simmered Fruits are recurring Meals in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Simmered Fruits are Meals that can be made by Cooking a maximum of three different Fruits together in a Cooking Pot. There are two ways to make this dish's default version. First, either Apples, Palm Fruits, or Wildberries must be used without any status-altering Fruits. Alternatively, Link can use multiple Fruits with contradicting status effects. If consumed by Link, Simmered Fruits will restore his Life Gauge by at least one Heart. They have a sweet taste, and the Fruits are simmered until tender.[1]

Link can use certain Fruits, in addition to extra ingredients, to make different variations of Simmered Fruits:

  • Hearty Simmered Fruit:[3] Made by using Hearty Durians or other hearty ingredients. By eating them, Link can have all of his Hearts healed and his maximum Hearts temporarily increased.[3]
  • Energizing Simmered Fruit:[4] Made by using energizing ingredients. When eaten, they will refill part of Link's Stamina Wheel.[4]
  • Enduring Simmered Fruit:[5] Made by using enduring ingredients. Link can eat these fruits to completely restore and overfill his Stamina Wheel.[5]
  • Hasty Simmered Fruit:[6] Made by using Fleet-Lotus Seeds or other hasty ingredients. If Link eats them, Link's movement speed will be increased.[6]
  • Mighty Simmered Fruit:[9] Made by using Mighty Bananas or other mighty ingredients. These fruits will boost the power of Link's attacks when eaten.[9]
  • Tough Simmered Fruit:[10] Made by using tough ingredients. Eating these meals will increase Link's defensive abilities.[10]
  • Sneaky Simmered Fruit:[11] Made by using sneaky ingredients. When eaten, they'll increase Link's Stealth.[11]

Tears of the Kingdom

Like in Breath of the Wild, Simmered Fruits can be made by Cooking up to three different types of Fruit together.
