Chill-Proof,(EoWEchoes of Wisdom)[1] also known as Cold Resistance,(BotWBreath of the Wild | TotKTears of the Kingdom)[2][3] is a recurring Added Effect in The Legend of Zelda series.
Overview
Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom
Cold Resistance is an Added Effect that prevents Link from taking damage due to Freezing Climates. Some environments require a higher Effect level. This Effect does not affect damage taken from Ice, Ice-based attacks, or Cold Water, and it has a maximum potency of level two.

Echoes of Wisdom
In Echoes of Wisdom, Chill-Proof is an Added Effect that prevents Princess Zelda from taking damage in the Freezing Climate caused by the Blizzard on Hebra Mountain. She is also immune to damage from Cold Water. It can be obtained by drinking Smoothies and Potions with "Warm" in their names, which are made using Warm Peppers. Like Link in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, Zelda is still vulnerable to Ice attacks while Chill-Proof is active.
