Flame Guard is a recurring Added Effect in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]
Overview
Flame Guard is an Added Effect that prevents Link from taking damage due to Scorching Climates. Some environments require a higher Effect level. This Effect does not affect damage taken from Extremely Hot Zones, Fire, Fire-based attacks, or Lava, and it has a maximum potency of level two. Flame Guard also does not prevent wooden Equipment from catching Fire in Scorching Climates.
