Fans are recurring Items and Objects in The Legend of Zelda series.[1] Fans go unnamed in Ocarina of Time.
Location and Uses

Fans appear inside the Shadow Temple and Inside Ganon's Castle. They operate on timed intervals and when active, they generate strong gusts of wind that can push Link in whichever direction they are facing. Link can resist Fans by wearing the Iron Boots, or he can gain additional distance from them by wearing the Hover Boots
Tears of the Kingdom
Fans are Zonai Devices that originate from the Sky Islands. However, they can also be found on the ground below. When they are struck, Fans will activate and generate strong gusts of wind that can propel Link in whichever direction they are pointing.
