Template:Item Octo Balloons are items in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Location and Uses

Octo Balloons are Monster Parts dropped by Octoroks. Link, when used in a Cooking Pot, can cook the Octo Balloons with critters such as Lizards, Frogs, Insects or Fairies to make Elixirs. They can also be purchased from merchants such as Beedle or the shop of Lurelin Village, and sold to them for Rupees, or to Kilton at the Fang and Bone for Mon.

Octo Balloons can be dropped and used to lift items such as a Barrels or stone slabs. They can thus be used to solve simple puzzles or lift non-metallic objects. During the "Balloon Flight" Side Quest, a young girl named Shamae living at the Woodland Stable requires Link to use at least two Octo Balloons to lift a Barrel into the sky. Sky Octoroks use this property to lift wooden platforms, creating aerial fortresses for other enemies.
