Blue Wisp are recurring Enemies in The Legend of Zelda series.[1]
Characteristics
Four Swords
The Minish Cap
Blue Wisps swiftly glide through areas in erratic, random patterns. They do not inflict any damage to Link, but will Curse him so that he is unable to use any of his items for a time. When Link makes contact with a Blue Wisp, it disappears and its flames surround him for as long as the Curse lasts. They cannot be attacked directly, but can be sucked up into the Gust Jar, or defeated by shooting Arrows at them. Throwing the Boomerang at them will make them disappear, though they will reappear once Link leaves and enters the area again.
