Cane of Pacci

From Zelda Wiki, the Zelda encyclopedia
Not to be confused with the Cane of Somaria or the Cane of Byrna.

The Cane of Pacci is an item in The Minish Cap.[1]

Location and Uses

The Cane of Pacci is acquired after defeating a group of Spiny Chuchus in the Cave of Flames, and can be used to fire an energy beam that flips any object in its path. It can flip Jars, platforms, mine carts, some enemies,[2] and blue-white pots that reveal Minish Portals where Link can become Minish-sized, and vice versa.

When fired at a hole in the ground, it energizes the hole to act like a trampoline, launching Link into the air after he leaps in. By obtaining the Cane of Pacci, Link is able to traverse previously inaccessible areas through the energizing and trampoline-like nature of these charged holes.

The Cane of Pacci is essential to defeating Gleerok within the Cave of Flames, and can also be used to flip Spiked Beetles as an alternative to the Shield.
