The Cheer Outfit is an item in Tri Force Heroes.[1]
Location and Uses
The Cheer Outfit is an Outfit that can be crafted at Madame Couture's. It becomes available for purchase once the Street Merchant arrives in Hytopia, at a cost of three Frilly Fabrics—a Material available only from the Street Merchant—and 100 Rupees. The Outfit dresses Link in a cheerleader's uniform consisting of a pink crop top and pleated skirt, and styles his hair into a long ponytail. In areas where Link can't use his Sword, he will carry pink pom-poms instead.
Wearing the Cheer Outfit increases the Energy Gauge by 50% for both of the wearer's allies,[2] but has no effect on the wearer themselves. If two or more Links in a trio wear the Cheer Outfit, then all three heroes receive a boost to their Energy Gauges. However, these boosts do not "stack"; no single Link can receive an Energy Gauge boost greater than 50%.
In a single-player game, the Cheer Outfit functions the same as the Energy Gear, increasing the Energy Gauge that is shared between Link and his two Doppels.
Any Links who join the game through Download Play will be unable to obtain the Cheer Outfit. Though the Outfit can appear in the Catalog, it is impossible to collect the required Materials in this mode.
