Cactus practice!

Attack with thorns when foes are near. Won't hurt friends. In the Coliseum, on the other hand...
Cacto Clothes
Damages enemies that dare to get too close. Try it in the ol' Coliseum sometime...
The Cacto Clothes are like a rose... gorgeous but YOUCH! They hurt foes who dare to touch your wear.
Cacto Clothes inflict damage on all enemies who touch you. Not the best way to make new friends...
I've heard of playing hard to get, but this is a bit excessive... ♥

The Cacto Clothes are an Outfit that can be crafted at Madame Couture's, at a cost of one Supple Leaf, one Thornberry and 1,000 Rupees. They become available for purchase after Link completes the Forest Temple. The Outfit dresses Link in a green bodysuit covered in large spines, to which the Stylish Woman jokes that he's "playing hard to get".[2]

Wearing the Cacto Clothes causes Link to automatically deal two Sword strikes' worth of damage to any enemy he comes into contact with. Link will also take damage as usual, except from small enemies that are pulled into him using the Gripshot. Enemies will not be harmed if Link only touches their shield or outstretched weapon. The other Links are unaffected by the Outfit, except during Coliseum battles, where it deals one Heart of damage on contact. The opposing Links can still Totem the Cacto Clothes' wearer if done from a step away.

The Cacto Clothes will also cause Squiddies and the Lucky Lobby Ball to explode instantly on contact. Ironically, they will not cause the balloons used in certain Drablands Challenges to pop. If a Doppel wearing the Cacto Clothes is thrown, it will have no effect on enemies or objects (such as balloons or Shock Switches), whereas it would with any other Outfit.
