Fishing Hook

From Zelda Wiki, the Zelda encyclopedia

The Fishing Hook is an Item in Link's Awakening.[1][2]

Location and Uses

The Fishing Hook is the eleventh item in the game's Trading Quest.[3] It is received from Grandma Ulrira in Mabe Village after giving her the Broom,[1] which she found while sweeping near the river.[4]

The Fishing Hook is later given to the Fisherman found beneath the bridge in Martha's Bay to replace the one he lost.[5] In exchange for the Hook, the Fisherman promises to give Link his next catch,[6] which turns out to be the Necklace.[7]
