Flaxel
Flaxel is a character in Breath of the Wild.[1]
Biography
Flaxel is a Hylian traveler who is found in the Gerudo Canyon. She carries a Hunter's Shield and Traveler's Sword. She was previously traveling with her friends Sesami, Oliff, Flaxel, and Palme.[2] However, the five of them were attacked by Bokoblins on the Koukot Plateau Path and ended up separated.[3]
At Gerudo Canyon Stable, Link can find Sesami, who managed to escape.[4] He asks Link to let Flaxel and the rest of his friends know that he is waiting for them at the Stable.[5] This initiates the "Missing in Action" Side Quest.
Flaxel is found on the northern end of the Koukot Plateau Path, defending herself from a Blue Bokoblin.[6] When Link saves her, she thanks him for his help.[7] She remarks on how sore she will be tomorrow, calling the Bokoblins filthy bottom-feeders.[8] Flaxel is angry when she finds out Sesami has been at the Gerudo Canyon Stable the whole time,[9] at which point she decides to give him a piece of her mind.[10] She then leaves for the Stable.
Back at the Gerudo Canyon Stable, Flaxel admits that she was going to yell at Sesami for leaving her, but she stopped once she noticed he looked like he was going to cry.[11] She is unable to bring herself to be mad at him for being scared, since that is the way he is.[12]
Flaxel and the rest of her friends chip in to give Link a Gold Rupee as thanks for saving them.[13] After the Side Quest is completed, Flaxel and her friends, with the exception of Sesami, disappear from the Stable, as they have all decided to part ways.[14]
Nomenclature
Flaxel is named after Flaxseed oil.
