The Relationship Classroom is a location in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Features and Overview

The Relationship Classroom is a room located off the barracks in Gerudo Town. During the day, Ashai teaches a class in the room entitled "Voe and You",[2] which is designed to help young Gerudo women learn about interacting with men.[3] Ashai sees her class as a way to prepare her students for the world outside of Gerudo Town.[4]

Ashai's three students are Pasha, Dina, and Risa. Traysi also observes lessons in the Relationship Classroom, where she notes how serious the Gerudo are.[5] Ashai does not start her class until all of her students have arrived.[6] Risa admits that she is only taking this class as a refresher, though she still studies.[7]

When spoken to inside the Relationship Classroom, Dina will ask Link what he thinks of her lipstick, as the color is supposed to bring good luck.[8] If Link asks how that works, Dina sheepishly reveals that she was planning on learning that next.[9] Alternatively, if Link compliments her, Dina says she can already feel it working.[10]

Should Link speak to Pasha, she will sit up and exclaim that she was not sleeping.[11] However, when she realizes Link is not the teacher, she tells him not to scare her like that.[12] Her dream is to travel the world before settling down with her true love to have a daughter,[13] and she sees these classes as critical for achieving that goal.[14]

If Link chooses to observe the "Voe and You" class, Ashai will begin the class so they can show off what they have learned.[15] First, she poses a scenario that her students are approached by a handsome man while walking down the street.[16] Pasha responds that she would wave casually, but stay prepared in the case that he is a bandit wanting to ambush her.[17] Ashai says this is a good approach to a new situation,[18] but she informs them that a man may appear suspicious due to being nervous around a Gerudo.[19] Dina goes next, saying she would greet him enthusiastically and with her hands clearly empty.[20] Ashai comments on her optimism and tells her it could put a stranger at ease.[21] Lastly, Risa tells her she would walk casually towards him before striking him when he least expects it,[22] which Ashai informs her would be a crime.[23]

Ashai's second question asks her students what they would do if they found an injured man lying on the ground.[24] Pasha claims she would carry him to the nearest person who could treat him.[25] Ashai finds this to be a proactive approach but reminds her to check for non-visible injuries before doing so.[26] Dina then states that she would determine what was wrong with him a make a medicine for his treatment.[27] Ashai finds this to be a good answer, she tells her to keep potential allergies in mind.[28] Risa goes last, where she reveals she would take the man home to help him recover.[29] While Ashai finds this sentiment sweet, she also tells Risa that it is basically kidnapping.[30]

For her final question, Ashai asks her students what they would do if they were approached by a man whose attention they have sought.[31] Pasha goes first and says she would pretend not to know his language.[32] Ashai finds this interesting, as it could spark curiousity from someone,[33] but reminds her that the man may know the language she is pretending to.[34] Next, Dina states that she would take the opportunity to figure out his social standing on the basis of his clothing.[35] Ashai praises Dina's thinking,[36] but tells her that people may wear more casual clothes if their good ones are dirty.[37] Finally, Risa says she would grab the man's hand and twist it until he agreed to marry her.[38] Though Ashai is at first shocked,[39] she then asks Risa to speak to her after class.[40]
