The "Ballad of Gales" is a recurring song in The Legend of Zelda series.
Uses and Location
The "Ballad of Gales" is taught to Link by the Wind God, Cyclos. He teaches it to Link after shooting an Arrow at him while caught in one of his cyclones, which can be found at the Mother & Child Isles, the Northern Triangle Island, and the Shark Island. The song allows Link to warp to one of following islands of the Great Sea:
- Mother & Child Isles
- Windfall Island
- Dragon Roost Island
- Tingle Island
- Greatfish Isle
- Tower of the Gods
- Southern Fairy Island
- Forest Haven
- Outset Island
The "Ballad of Gales" is also required to obtain the Fire and Ice Arrows from the Fairy Queen in the Mother and Child Isles.
Hyrule Warriors Legends
In Hyrule Warriors Legends, the "Ballad of Gales" is played whenever a Warrior uses the Ocarina item during a battle, summoning a cyclone that carries them to one of the Owl Statues on the map.
- The last nine seconds of the "Ballad of Gales" resemble the "Minuet of Forest" from Ocarina of Time.
