The Fire Temple 2F is a location in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Features and Overview

The Fire Temple 2F is the second floor of the Fire Temple. It can be accessed via Mine Cart Tracks from the southern room of the Fire Temple 1F. These Tracks lead into a central room with a turntable. Opposite this turntable, there is a Rail Switch that can redirect Mine Carts northward to a barrier atop a spire of rock. This spire leads to two branching paths to the north and the west respectively. The northern path is blocked by the barrier, which can be lifted by striking a nearby Bell that controls a larger turntable in the middle of the tracks. When struck, the barrier lifts and the turntable rotates 90 degrees, allowing Link to proceed north. To the west, there is a stone suspension bridge with additional Mine Cart Tracks beyond it. Like the other Tracks, these are blocked by a barrier controlled by a corresponding Bell. When struck, this Bell lowers the Tracks from the floor above and releases the barrier to allow Mine Carts to enter a second room to the north.

By following the eastern track, Link arrives at a northeastern supply room. The western track instead leads to a larger room with a pool of Lava. A ledge on the western side of this room houses an active Hydrant, which ineffectually pours Water onto a Gloom Rock. By destroying this Gloom Rock, Link can cause Lava Slabs to appear, creating bridges across the Lava. On the northern side of this room, there is a gong that releases one of the Fire Temple's padlocks.[2][3] By striking the Bell to the south while riding a Mine Cart southward from this room, Link can access the Fire Temple 3F.
