The Mane-Restyling Service is a recurring service in The Legend of Zelda series.(TotK)[1] The Mane-Restyling Service goes unnamed in Breath of the Wild.

Overview

Breath of the Wild

At select Stables, a worker is able to perform the Mane-Restyling Service on Link's Horses. By bringing his Horse to these workers, Link is able to change its Mane.[2] The Service is unable to be performed on Epona or the Giant Horse.[3][4] In addition, the worker will refuse to change the Mane of a Horse unless it has completely bonded with Link.[5][6]

The Mane-Restyling Service can be performed at the following Stables:

Stable Character
Highland Stable Phanna
Outskirt Stable Canni
South Akkala Stable Tenne
Woodland Stable Breen

Tears of the Kingdom

Link can unlock the Mane-Restyling Service by accumulating a total of 16 Pony Points through the Stable Association.[1] Unlike in Breath of the Wild, the Service can be performed by the proprietor of any Stable. However, the Manes of Epona, the Giant Horse, and the Giant White Stallion are unable to be Restyled.[7][8]
