Meeshy is a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]
Biography
Breath of the Wild
Meeshy is a Hylian adventurer. She travels on the Faron Highroad between Highland Stable and Lakeside Stable.
Meeshy is a novice adventurer, so she is careful when it comes to pushing herself too hard.[3] Mush of her information about the surrounding area comes from other adventurers or studying her Map.[4][5][6][7] During her journey, she will often refer to her Map for guidance.[8] If it rains, she will be worried that her Map will get wet.[9] At night, she looks out for Shooting Stars.[10]
As she travels, Meeshy will occasionally mention the Faron Woods to Link. She advises Link to reference his Map if he journeys through the Faron Woods, since they can be difficult to navigate.[11][12] She has also heard of Dracozu Lake, which she refers to as "Mouth of the Dragon."[13][14] In addition, she considers the ancient Zonai Ruins to be romantic, even though she would never visit them.[15][16] Finally, Meeshy shares rumors that the Spring of Courage is located within the Faron Woods, but she believes visiting it would be too risky for someone of her skill level.[17][18]
As she approaches Lakeside Stable, Meeshy expresses an interest in the Floria Falls that flow into Lake Floria, and she likes the idea of going behind a Waterfall.[19][20] While Meeshy is at Lakeside Stable, she informs Link that he could continue following the Faron Highroad east to Lurelin Village.[21][22] However, she warns him that he would be at risk of Monster attacks if he went this way.[23] When she leaves Lakeside Stable, Meeshy shares that her plan is to go to Highland Stable through the Faron Woods.[24][25]
Meeshy claims to have had bad encounters with Monsters in the past, stating that they seem to be drawn to her.[26][27] As she approaches Highland Stable, she will begin running to avoid the Monsters in the area.[28][29] Near Lakeside Stable, she claims she was so scared of these Monsters that she sees them in her dreams.[30]
When she is attacked by Enemies, Meeshy will run away in fear.[31][32][33] If Link speaks to her during this time, she will wonder what she should do and wish the Monsters would disappear.[34][35] After Link defeats the Enemy, she will be relieved.[36][37][38] She tells Link how scared she was, and she is grateful that he was there to help her.[39][40][41] As a reward, Meeshy will give Link Food and Rupees.[42]
Tears of the Kingdom
Meeshy reappears in Tears of the Kingdom.
