Badges are objects in Hyrule Warriors.[2]

Location and Uses

Badges come in three forms: Attack Badges, Defense Badges and Assist Badges, all of which are obtained from the Badge Market. Badges also have three visible qualities: bronze, silver and gold, usually rising incrementally from bronze to gold based on the ranking of each consecutive iteration of a Badge. The prices for purchasing Badges vary greatly in the required Materials and Rupees based on the Warrior and the rank of the Badge.[3] Weaker Badges usually cost basic Materials and a small amount of Rupees, while the stronger Badges tend to require rare Materials and sums of Rupees in the thousands.

When created, Badges give supplemental effects which apply exclusively to the Warrior given the Badge.[1] Therefore, each Badge must be purchased for Warriors individually, and some Weapon-related Attack Badges will be unavailable to certain Warriors as they lack the required number of Weapons to necessitate the purchase of the Badge.

Attack Badges specialize in building attack combinations, diminishing an enemy's health and defense through secondary effects, or boosting the length of Focus Spirit and the Special Attack gauge. Defense Badges specialize in boosting a Warrior's defensive fortitude and restoring a Warrior's health. Assist Badges aid in swiftly taking Keeps as well as lengthening the duration of powered-up items.
