Gibdo

The flesh-eating, undead, mummified corpses known as Gibdo (ギブド, Gibudo) have been around since the very first The Legend of Zelda game and have since appeared in several other games, like A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask.
In The Legend of Zelda and A Link to the Past, Gibdos merely walk around; doing a large amount of damage if one touched Link. In A Link to the Past, they have quite a lot of stamina though they can easily be destroyed with the Fire Rod.
In Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, Gibdos behave almost identically to ReDeads; if they cross eyes with Link, he will be petrified for a few seconds, at which the monster will jump onto his back and repeatedly bite his head and neck until shaken off. Gibdos also share the ReDeads' weakness to the Sun's Song, which freezes them in their tracks for several seconds. Among the differences between the two creatures is the ReDeads' habbit of "mourning" other slain ReDeads, a behavior which Gibdos do not exhibit. In Majora's Mask, Gibdos are normally hostile, but they will become neutral towards Link if he wears the Gibdo Mask. If the player hits them with a Fire Arrow, it will burn off their bandages to reveal a ReDead (though this only works in Majora's Mask). Both ReDeads and Gibdos are also unable to harm Goron or Deku Scrub forms in Majora's Mask, as the former is too large and the latter is too small (though both forms are still vulnerable to paralysis). Gibdos are also found in Beneath the Well where they request Link to bring them certain items in order to earn passage into other chambers of the well.
Although the enemies in Twilight Princess' Arbiter's Grounds look like Gibdos, they are actually ReDeads.
Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages
In both Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons, Gibdo can be burned using ember seeds which will cause them to turn into ordinary stalfos. Gibdos are also one of the few enemies that will not be pushed away when Link strikes them with his sword. Instead, they keep moving in the direction, making it seem as if the sword did nothing against them.
The Minish Cap
In The Minish Cap, the Gibdo was similar to its Ocarina of Time counterpart except that it couldn't freeze Link or be frozen. Link could kill them by torching them with the Flame Lantern upon which they would turn into Stalfos.
