Ancient Battle Axes++ are Weapons used by Guardian Scouts IV in "A Major Test of Strength" Ancient Shrines. They also have a chance to appear in Treasure Chests spawned by scanning the Breath of the Wild Series Guardian amiibo with the amiibo Rune. They are Ancient Battle Axes that have been enhanced with Ancient Technology to reach peak performance, beyond the limits of metal weaponry.[1]

Due to Ancient Battle Axes++ being made of Ancient Technology, they will deal additional damage if they are used against Guardians. They will not burn when exposed to a Fire or Scorching Climate. However, they are unable to be picked up using the Magnesis Rune on the Sheikah Slate. They float when dropped in Water, and they do not attract Lightning during Thunderstorms.
