Arpagos are flying dragon-like enemies that appear in the Philips CD-i games The Faces of Evil and The Wand of Gamelon.

Characteristics

Arpagos are airborne enemies that attack Link and Zelda from above. As with most enemies in the games they appear, they have a tendency of spawning frequently and in large flocks. In The Faces of Evil, the Bell can briefly freeze them when rung. The Flute in The Wand of Gamelon has an identical effect on them. In The Wand of Gamelon only, Zelda can receive free Bread from Harbanno the baker in Sakado after rescuing him from Tykogi Tower, which can be thrown to distract Arpagos for a brief period of time.

Two items in The Wand of Gamelon are related to these enemies. The Arpagos Egg can be found in the tower behind Mayor Cravendish's house in Sakado and is given to the Hungry Girl in Kobitan in exchange for the Flute. The Arpagos Feather can be found in Gobiyan Ship, and is given to Myra in Hanyu Forest to combine with Zelda's Shroud to make the Magic Cloak.
