The Light Room is a location in Ocarina of Time.[1]

Features and Overview

The Light Room is one of seven elemental rooms located within Ganon's Castle. It is initially blocked by a stone monolith that can only be moved using the Golden Gauntlets.

The theme of the Light Room is centered around optical illusions, similar to the Shadow Temple and Shadow Room. The first chamber contains a group of Treasure Chests guarded by invisible Keese and a Skulltula. These Enemies can be revealed using the Lens of Truth. Some of the Treasure Chests are actually Tricky Chests, though the Keese are perched on the real ones.

The next chambers involve playing Zelda's Lullaby and collecting Silver Rupees under a time limit while avoiding Boulders. At first, the Light Barrier will appear to be missing from its chamber, and Link will instead be menaced by a falling Wallmaster. Upon closer inspection, the room is actually a decoy; using the Lens of Truth reveals an illusory wall with the real Light Barrier chamber on the other side.

In Master Quest, the invisible Keese and Skulltula are replaced by Torch Slugs and a Dinolfos. The room with Zelda's Lullaby no longer yields a Small Key when the song is played, forcing Link to find it in one of the other elemental rooms in Ganon's Castle. The next room no longer has Boulders and Silver Rupees, and it is instead guarded by a Beamos and some Flame Walls. The decoy Light Barrier room replaces the Wallmaster with a Skullwalltula. However, the forward way cannot be opened until Link has hit a Switch hidden inside one of the yellow Light braziers.
