Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

The Lockup Back Room is spacious side chamber at the far end of the Lockup, which is part of the Hyrule Castle Underground. It was initially used for the Test of the Royal Guard, a combat trial to determine those worthy of becoming royal knights.[2] Following the destruction of Hyrule Castle, it stands occupied by a lone Stalnox.[3] If Link enters the chamber, the portcullis at the entrance will close behind him, forcing him to face the Stalnox. Once it has been defeated, the portcullis will lift back up.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Lockup Back Room returns in Tears of the Kingdom. In this game, the Stalnox is gone, with Gloom Spawn located where it used to be. The gate is also sealed, meaning Link will have to bomb the ceiling to make an entrance to the room rather than entering via the same means as in Breath of the Wild. Once the Gloom Spawn and Phantom Ganon are defeated, the Royal Hyrulean Fabric can be obtained from the chest in the centre of the room.
