Features and Overview

Tears of the Kingdom

The Hyrule Castle Chasm is a Chasm that opened below the floating portion of Hyrule Castle when Demon King Ganondorf pushed it into the Sky. It leads directly to Gloom's Approach in the Central Hyrule Depths.

Other Appearances

Age of Imprisonment

The Hyrule Castle Chasm appears in the Era of Foundation, prior to the construction of Hyrule Castle above it. The Chasm is the site of Rauru and the Sages' contingency plan, which involves luring Demon King Ganondorf through it to the Imprisoning Chamber.[2][3] During the Scenario "The Demon King, Ensnared", the Warriors enact this plan and fight their way across Hyrule Field to the Chasm.[4][5][6] Ganondorf and many of his Monsters follow them into the Depths, though they are diverted by Calamo, the Knight Construct, and the rest of the Hyrulean Army on the Surface.[7]
