Starlight Memories

From Zelda Wiki, the Zelda encyclopedia

Starlight Memories,(BotW | TotK)[1][2] also known as the Gerudo Jewelers,(BotW)[3] and Dearest Stars,(HWAoC)[4] is a recurring Jewelry Shop in The Legend of Zelda series.

Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

Starlight Memories is a Jewelry Shop in Gerudo Town, owned by the jewelers Cara and Isha.[5][6] The Accessories offered at the Jewelry Shop are crafted by Isha in a manner that channels the natural power of Gems, allowing their wearers protection against certain elements.[7] Since these Gems are difficult to obtain, however, Isha requires her customers to bring them as part of their payments.[8] The Accessories at Starlight Memories are also unisex, being able to be worn by both men and women.[9]

When Link first arrives in Gerudo Town, he will find that Starlight Memories is closed due to running out of Flint to work with.[6] As part of the "Tools of the Trade" Side Quest, Link must bring Isha 10 pieces of Flint so she can reopened the Jewelry Shop.[10] When Link delivers the Flint, Isha will thank him with a gift of either a Ruby Circlet, a Sapphire Circlet, or Topaz Earrings.[11] She also invites Link to come back to the Jewelry Shop in the future, offering him a special discount if he does so.[12]

Following the completion of "Tools of the Trade", Link will be able to buy Accessories from Starlight Memories.[13][14] Whenever Link makes a purchase, Isha might thank him for doing so.[15] She can also wish for the Gems in his new Accessory to offer him protection.[16][17] Isha may also comment that the Accessory suits Link.[18]

Dearest Stars as seen in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Dearest Stars opens near Gerudo Town after completing the "Wanted: Shop Assistant" Quest, which appears after finishing the Urbosa, the Gerudo Chief Scenario. Seru's parents are worried about her taking over the Shop on her own, so she needs Rupees in order to hire a shop assistant.[19] Once she has the funding for this, she invites the Warriors to come back in the future, which unlocks the Shop.[20][21]

After Dearest Stars is open, Warriors will be able to purchase Gems from Seru.[22] They also have the option to sell their own Items to her.[23]

When the "Great Bridge Repairs", "The Lazy Guards", "The Marita Exchange", and "What Bad Weather?" Side Quests are completed, prices at Dearest Stars will decrease by 10% each time. In total, 40% can be removed from the original price of Gems.
