Blue Lizalfos are a stronger variation of the regular green Lizalfos, as they are knwon to have more health and carry stronger Lizalfos Gear and other Weapons.^[5] Like other Lizalfos, they can be often be found in or around bodies of Water, such as lakes and rivers. However, they also inhabit much of the Gerudo Desert.

Blue Lizalfos reappear in Tears of the Kingdom, acting mostly the same as they do in Breath of the Wild. However, they have new horns known as Blue Lizalfos Horns, which they can attack Link with.

In Cadence of Hyrule, Blue Lizalfos are not stronger than Green Lizalfos, but they do wield Spears, giving them a much farther reach when they attack. While their movement is bound to the beat of the music, they typically stand still until one of the heroes crosses their path. Once they have a hero within their sights, they will proceed to charge at them within a straight line, moving on every beat until they collide into something or the hero stops their attack with their Weapon, stunning them for three beats. While stunned, they are rendered completely defenseless until they regain consciousness on the fourth beat, returning to their original stance to look for targets.
