Four Swords Box.png

Platform: Game Boy Advance

The first The Legend of Zelda game released for the Game Boy Advance is an enhanced port of A Link to the Past packed with Four Swords, the first multiplayer title in the series, which features cooperative gameplay with competitive elements and randomly-generated levels. A Link to the Past features modified graphics and screen layouts to fit within the GBA's lower screen resolution and brightness, as well as the new Lumberjack's Riddles quest, the Palace of the Four Sword, and many minor changes and improvements.
Each saved game records the player's progress for both games, allowing for achievements in one game to unlock content and abilities in the other. Four Swords would later be re-released as a standalone DSiWare title, Four Swords Anniversary Edition.
