The Ghost Ringleader is a character and a Sub-Boss in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland.[name references needed] She resides in Icy Plains Graveyard, from which she possessed Port Town Guard's Wife, wanting to be beautiful, loved and be married to a handsome kind-hearted man, due to her tragically dying at age 8,[citation needed] never having a chance to do so in life.

Characteristics

The Ghost Ringleader has been presumably possessing the wife of the Town Guard for awhile, occasionally making her sick and causing panic for the Guard looking for medicine to cure her. After Tingle reaches the Icy Plain, Ringleaders ghastly minions are surrounding the window of the wife's bedroom, making it clear, that Tingle and the Guard must venture to the Icy Plain Graveyard and stop the spirit from further possession. After the Guard arrives at the grave of the Ringleader, he gets struck by an ice spell, temporarily dying in the process, but with the help of Chiko's Grandmother (after paying her some Rupees), the Guard stands up a new, powerful man, fighting for the sake of his wife. After dealing with all the ghost waves, the Ringleader tries to use her spell again, but to no effect, after the guard says he did it all for the sake of his wife, she started to feel remorseful about her actions, saying that she simply wanted to see how being a beautiful woman, married to a thoughtful, handsome man felt like, being jealous of the Guards Wife. After asking for forgiveness, she vanishes back to her grave, melting it in the process, vowing to change and become a better person, ending with possession of the Guard's Wife.

The battle against the Ghost Ringleader is just a gauntlet of small and big ghosts, which can shoot ice spells that freeze Tingle on hit. Only the Town Guard can engage in the battle with the ghosts, targeting the ghosts that are closer to him, it's recommended to use the whistle to guide the Guard since his pathing can be come off as indecisive, the ghosts will slowly creep into the smoke cloud, so it's best to get them all in a one big pile to finish the phases quickly. It's an overall easy boss, due to the Guard's massive heart pool and the ghosts only doing around 1 to 5 rupee worth of damage.
