Herons are a type of Bird common within Hyrule. Only two varieties of Herons exist, these being the Blue-Winged Heron and the Pink Heron. Blue-Winged Herons can be found near bodies of Water on Hyrule Ridge or in the Faron Grasslands, eating Frogs and Fish.[3] Pink Herons reside in more arid Regions, like Hyrule Ridge and Hyrule Field, where they hunt for Insects.[4] Both types of Herons will fly away if Link disturbs them, and they drop Raw Bird Drumsticks when they are killed.
