Switch Blocks,(LA)[1][name references needed] also known as Switch Fences,(ALttP)[2] and Crystal Blocks,(LA)[3] are recurring Objects in The Legend of Zelda series.

Link's Awakening
Switch Blocks are immovable Blocks that can either be elevated or retracted into the ground by hitting a Crystal Switch.[1] Link is unable to get on top of Switch Blocks when they are elevated unless he has access to a higher point or he hits a Crystal Switch while standing on a retracted Switch Block. They appear in Bottle Grotto, Face Shrine, and Eagle's Tower.
