"To the Kingdom of Hyrule" is a Main Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Overview

After the Decayed Master Sword disappears at the back of the Temple of Time, the Light Dragon rises from the clouds beneath the Great Sky Island, revealing the Surface below. As Link looks down on Lookout Landing, he hears the voice of Zelda telling him to come find her.[2] Upon hearing her voice, "To the Kingdom of Hyrule" Main Quest will begin.

Purah's introduction

When Link dives from the Temple of Time, he will be able to land in the Water of the Bottomless Pond. From there, he makes his way to Lookout Landing in Hyrule Field. When he reaches the Research Lab, Josha will be shocked to see him and call out to Purah.[3] At this, Purah runs out from inside the Research Lab, asking Link where he has been.[4] While examining Link, she wonders if he is a ghost,[5] though she quickly becomes distracted by his new Right Arm.[6] Removing her goggles, Purah decides to take their encounter one step at a time and asks Link what happened.[7]

Upon hearing Link's retelling of the events Beneath Hyrule Castle, Purah reasons that they must have occurred at the start of the Upheaval.[8] She also repeats his story of his time on the Great Sky Island.[9] She is shocked that Link was able to come back to the Surface from the Sky.[10] Recalling that Rauru was the name of the first King of Hyrule, Purah speculates they could be the same individual, but she is still confused.[11] However, she believes that the mummy Beneath Hyrule Castle is related to the Upheaval.[12] She also takes Link hearing Zelda's voice as a sign she is still alive, potentially even trapped Beneath Hyrule Castle.[13] Now that Link has returned, Purah decides that they need his help investigating Hyrule Castle.[14] Following their conversation, "To the Kingdom of Hyrule" will be completed, and the "Crisis at Hyrule Castle" Main Quest will begin.

Objectives

Stage Description
1 At the temple of Time, you saw the Master Sword vanish into a mysterious light. A white dragon then rose into the sky, parting the sea of clouds. You're sure you heard Princess Zelda say, "Link, you must find me." Head to the land below to look for clues to her whereabouts. There's no faster way to do that than dive bravely from the sky island.
Complete After descending from the sky island where you awoke, you returned to the kingdom of Hyrule and reunited with Purah at Lookout Landing. You learned that she's been directing search efforts in the kingdom.

Work with Purah to find Princess Zelda.
