The Ventest Clothing Boutique is a recurring Armor Shop in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

The Ventest Clothing Boutique is an Armor Shop located in Hateno Village.[3] It is managed by Sophie, a girl who stands quietly in the corner of the store.[4] The Boutique notably sells two complete Armor Sets: the Hylian Armor Series and the Soldier's Set. It also features a side room, which functions as a joint kitchen and bedroom.

The Ventest Clothing Boutique was formerly operated by Sophie's father, Seldon, but he has decided to give more responsibility to his daughter.[5] While giving Link a tour of Hateno Village, the Boutique will be his final stop, and he invites Link to come shopping.[6] If it is Raining outside, Seldon will run inside and sit at the work station located at the back of the store.

When Link makes a purchase from the Ventest Clothing Boutique, Sophie will thank him for doing so.[7][8][8]

Tears of the Kingdom

Related Quests

The Ventest Clothing Boutique reappears in Tears of the Kingdom. Several giant Mushrooms have sprouted up along its edges, and the large shirt displayed above the door has been replaced to feature Mushroom patterns.

Sophie's sister Cece has taken over the shop and turned it into an exhibition for her brand.[9] The only item on display is the Cece Hat, and it is not up for sale.[10] The armor pieces that should be in stock have been put away to make room for the exhibit.[11][12] They are stored in the personnel-only room to the side.[13] The door is locked, but they can be seen from the main room through an opening in the wall.

Once Link has completed "The Mayoral Election" Side Quest however, Cece agrees to put the old stock back in the main room. Link can buy the armor pieces on display from Sophie, while Cece offers her own selection of wares.[14]
