The North Woods are a location in Phantom Hourglass.[1]

Features and Overview

The North Woods are located between Mercay Village and the Temple of the Ocean King. The area containing the North Woods is an open hillside that advances to the west. The westernmost stairs are obstructed by Cracked Blocks which must be destroyed by Bombs. However, stairs to the northern portion of the area provide a detour around the Cracked Blocks until they are destroyed. A Big Tree in the northern section holds a Big Green Rupee, which can be found by rolling into it. If Link assists Lapelli with the Boulders in his garden, Lapelli will show him the Big Green Rupee's location on the Map.[2][3]

Freedle can be found on a northeastern islet here.
