Properties |
Royal Broadswords are one-handed Swords that deal 36 damage. They can be found in Hyrule Castle and are occasionally wielded by Silver Bokoblins and Golden Bokoblins. Before the Great Calamity, the Royal Family of Hyrule would award these swords to Knights of Hyrule who achieved remarkable feats.[1] They balance strength and beauty elegantly, making them rare.[1]
When scanned with the amiibo Rune, the following amiibo have a chance to spawn a Treasure Chest containing a Royal Broadsword:
- Super Smash Bros. Series Young Link amiibo
- The Legend of Zelda series Series Link (Link's Awakening) amiibo
- Breath of the Wild Series Link (Rider) amiibo
Due to their metallic composition, Royal Broadswords will attract Lightning if they are equipped during Thunderstorms, and they are capable of conducting Electricity. They also will not burn if they are exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate. They sink if they are dropped in the Water, but since they are magnetic, they can be picked up using the Magnesis Rune.
Royal Broadswords belong to the Royal Gear series of equipment, which was used by distinguished individuals in Hyrule Kingdom.[3]
