Doppel Master
The Doppel Master is a character in Tri Force Heroes.[1] He is the master of the Hall of the Doppels in Hytopia Castle, who activates the Doppels and the lobby's Triforce Gateway so that Link may enter the Drablands in their company.
Biography
When Link first enters the Hall of the Doppels, the Doppel Master welcomes him and explains the purpose of the Doppels. It is the Doppel Master's duty to awaken the Doppels and bind them to Link's soul whenever he wishes to venture out into the Drablands.[2] To do this, he chants a string of magical words that will awaken the Doppels and open the Triforce Gateway to permit Link entry. After doing this for the first time, he will explain the use of Doppel Panels.[3] If Link exits and returns to the lobby, he will have to speak with the Doppel Master again to reawaken the Doppels.
Trivia
- In the European release of the game, the Doppel Master's magical words used to awaken the Doppels, "Pu gnimoc remotsuc eno", is "One customer coming up" backwards.[4]
