Doppel Panel
Doppel Panels are an interface in Tri Force Heroes.[1]
Overview
Doppel Panels are a set of three panels that appear on the bottom screen of the Nintendo 3DS once Link has been bound to the two Doppels to set out for the Drablands.[1] Each Doppel Panel is color-coded to represent one of the three heroes and features an icon of that Link's face, the item he carries, and a shortened name for the Outfit he wears (eg. the Hero's Tunic is called "Hero"). The Panel representing the active Link also displays his chosen name, while the others feature the Doppels' stone masks over their Links' faces.
Tapping any of the Doppel Panels will transport Link's soul to the respective Doppel, giving the player control over it.[2] This is represented by a glowing orb that quickly beams from the active Link to the Doppel, followed by a puff of colored smoke around the Doppel as it becomes the "new" Link.
