The Essence Screen is a recurring interface in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Oracle of Seasons
The Essence Screen is a Subscreen that shows all the Essences that have been collected, the current amount of Pieces of Heart collected, and, when Link is outdoors in Holodrum, the current Season in that area of Holodrum. The Save Screen can also be accessed from this screen.[1]
Oracle of Ages
The Essence Screen is a Subscreen that shows all the Essences that have been collected, the current amount of Pieces of Heart collected, and whether Link is currently in the past or the present. The game can also be Saved from this screen.[2]
