The Royal Guard Uniform appears exclusively in The Champions' Ballad Downloadable Content pack. It is a part of the Royal Guard Set, along with the Royal Guard Cap and Royal Guard Boots.[4] Wearing the full Armor Set will decrease the amount of Stamina required for a charge attack. The Uniform available through the "EX Royal Guard Rumors" Side Quest, which requires Link to read the Super Rumor Mill V4 at Riverside Stable.[5] The Book claims that pieces of the Royal Guard Set can be found in the Dining Hall, near the Guards' Chamber, and on the second floor.[6]
The Royal Guard Uniform can be found in a Hidden Chest behind a bombable wall in the Hyrule Castle Corridors. This wall is located near the Dining Hall. After collecting it, Granté will begin to sell the Royal Guard Uniform in Tarrey Town.[note 1] The Royal Guard Uniform cannot be enhanced by a Great Fairy, nor can it be Dyed at the Kochi Dye Shop.
The Royal Guard Uniform is found in a Treasure Chest in the Guards' Chamber.
