Sand Boots are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.(BotWBreath of the Wild | TotKTears of the Kingdom | AoCAge of Calamity)[1][2][3]
Sand Boots grant the Sand Speed Up Added Effect, allowing Link to travel more quickly across sandy ground, such as the Gerudo Desert or beach areas.[1] They can also be worn in Gerudo Town (in conjunction with the Gerudo Top and Gerudo Veil).
To get the Sand Boots, Link must speak to Bozai, who can be found jogging around Gerudo Town. Link must wear the complete Gerudo Outfit to initiate a Side Quest called The Eighth Heroine. Link will temporarily be given Snow Boots for this quest. Once Link has ventured to the Gerudo Highlands and taken a picture of the Statue of the Eighth Heroine, he must show it to Bozai. Link will trade back the Snow Boots and be given the Sand Boots.[4] After acquiring them, Granté will begin to sell the Sand Boots in Tarrey Town.
The Sand Boots are not required to complete any Quests in the game, but Link will be able to access The Forgotten Sword quest after obtaining them.

The Sand Boots are a piece of Attire obtained when the Warriors complete the Quest "Surveying the Desert Ruins". It can only be worn by Link, and can be Dyed at the Kochi Dye Shop. They are modified by Gerudo artisans to allow normal movement in sand.[3]
