Location and Uses
Breath of the Wild
Hightail Lizards are common Lizards that can be encountered in warm and temperate areas throughout Hyrule.[1] They can be found basking on Trees or Rocks, and they can also be startled out of hiding when Grass is cut. They often take a moment to register Link's presence, but they flee quickly once they do.[1] To catch them, Link can chase after them, use Stealth to approach them without being noticed, or stun them with an Arrow or Remote Bomb.
Hightail Lizards can be Cooked with Monster Parts in a Cooking Pot to make a Hasty Elixir, which will temporarily increase Link's speed when consumed.[1][4] Cooking them with other ingredients, however, will make Dubious Food. The Kochi Dye Shop will also accept them as ingredients for Brown Dye.
