Monster Saddles are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

The Monster Saddle can be purchased from Kilton at the Fang and Bone for 299 Mon.[3] Kilton made it himself, though it was intended for a more Monster-like Horse.[1] Despite their strange appearance, they are still useable for Horses.[1]

The Monster Saddle is part of the Monster Horse Gear set, which is a group of Horse Gear.[4] Link can equip his Horses with the Monster Saddle by speaking to specific workers at either Highland Stable, Outskirt Stable, South Akkala Stable, or Woodland Stable.[5] As is the case with other Saddles, they are unable to be utilized by Epona or the Giant Horse.[6][7]

My, she's so lovely and graceful... I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure this little lady would absolutely hate it if you changed her mane or gear. I'm so sorry about that." — Canni (Breath of the Wild)

I'm sorry, but I don't think I have any gear that'd fit such a large horse, and I bet it wouldn't like its mane handled... I'm so sorry about that." — Canni (Breath of the Wild)
