Phantom Hourglass

The Wood Heart is obtained by giving the Guard Notebook to Nyave in the Southwestern sea of the World of the Ocean King. Giving it to the Old Wayfarer on his ship in the Southeastern sea allows Link to return to Bannan Island and get the Swordsman's Scroll, which allows him to use the Spin Attack.

Spirit Tracks

The Wood Heart appears as a Treasure in Spirit Tracks. They can be found inside Jars, Treasure Chests, or under piles of leaves, as well as being be bought from shops or won from a Prize Postcard.
