"A Picture for Foothill Stable" is a Side Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Overview

When Link examines the Empty Frame at Foothill Stable, the owner Ozunda will notice him.[2] He reveals that it was given to him by the Stable Association so he can hang up a Picture for his patrons.[3][4] Since the Stable is a common stopping point on the way to Goron City, Ozunda wants to display a Picture of the statue of Daruk that can be found there.[5] Although he is unable to leave the Stable to go paint it, he claims he would be able to replicate a Picture of it.[6] After this, "A Picture for Foothill Stable" will start.

Using his Camera, Link can take a Picture of the Goron Stone Memorial in Goron City, which contains the statue of Daruk. He can then take the Picture back to Foothill Stable to show Ozunda.[7] Once he sees the Picture, Ozunda claims it is what he needed to see, and he asks for Link's permission to copy it.[8][9] If Link agrees, Ozunda thanks him, claiming that the Picture captures Daruk's strength.[10] He asks for a moment to create his own Picture, promising he has the talent to recreate it faithfully.[11] After the Picture of the Daruk Sculpture is finished, Ozunda expresses his pride at how it turned out, and he is happy to have been able to paint again.[12]

Due to how much he enjoyed painting the Picture of the Daruk Sculpture, Ozunda offers to paint any more Pictures of the Goron Stone Memorial that Link takes.[13] He then proceeds to reward Link with one Pony Point.[14] In addition to this, he gives Link a Fireproof Lizard, which he believes will help him during his travels.[15] Once again, Ozunda thanks Link, inviting him to make use of the Stable whenever he wants.[16] Following their conversation, "A Picture for Foothill Stable" will be completed.
