The Hyrule Castle Town Ruins Well is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.(TotK)[1] The Hyrule Castle Town Ruins Well goes unnamed in Breath of the Wild.

Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

The Hyrule Castle Town Ruins Well is located south of the Hyrule Cathedral in East Castle Town, being part of the Hyrule Castle Town Ruins in Hyrule Field. 100 years before the events of Breath of the Wild, it was part of Hyrule Castle Town, and it was destroyed along with the rest of the settlement during the Great Calamity.[2]

Tears of the Kingdom

The Hyrule Castle Town Ruins Well reappears in Tears of the Kingdom, with its interior now accessible to Link. It is still part of the Hyrule Castle Town Ruins in central Hyrule Field.[3] The Well features two chambers: an entry chamber, and a circular tunnel running below the Hyrule Cathedral. The floors of both of these chambers feature pools of Water.
