Description
After the Upheaval, these monsters began appearing in Hyrule's cave systems. They have sturdy horns that are perfect for crushing rocks and strong muscles that allow them to traverse cave walls and ceilings as easily as if they were walking on the ground. They often hang from ceilings, waiting for prey.

Horriblins are recently-discovered Monsters that cling to the ceilings of dark places such as Caves and the Depths.[1] They are known for their large, bulbous noses, gray skin, and hammer-shaped horns.[1] Stronger Horriblin variants possess larger and tougher horns.[3]

Horriblins attack using Spears and by tearing out boulders to throw at Link; the latter can be sent back at them with Recall. If knocked off a cave ceiling, a Horriblin will bounce around in pain for a while, leaving it defenseless. Horriblins cannot swim and will drown in deep water.
