Location and Uses

Spirit Tracks

Lumber is for sale in Whittleton for only 50 Rupees. However, Link is unable to afford it if he does not have the Freight Car yet, and by the time he does, the seller needs Goron Iron to polish the tools he uses to cut the trees and find his merchandise. The Goron Iron can be purchased in Goron Village for 100 Rupees and brought to Whittleton to solve this problem.

With the lumber available, Link can carry it to Anouki Village to help the Anouki build a fence. Even then, however, the young hero still has to bring Kenzo from the Trading Post so that the fence build can start. The reward for these deeds is a Force Gem that activates Spirit Tracks giving access to the Snowdrift Station.

Masterful Performance
It tends to be their fabrics that garner attention, but the Rito have the best woodworking techniques in Hyrule, as well. From their serving dishes to their structures, even the very framework of their village, the Rito have made everything from wood. I'm told the way they transport lumber midair is quite the sight, and I'd love to see it someday.

The Rito built their settlements around Rito Village using Lumber. According to Zelda, it was an impressive sight to see the Rito carrying Lumber through the air.
