Moth Gibdos are flying Gibdos that appeared in the Gerudo Desert alongside the Sand Shroud.[3] Their resemblance to Insects is more prominent than in regular Gibdos, with mothlike wings, antennae, and a tail-like abdomen.
Moth Gibdos fly above Link, making them difficult to strike without Bows or Spears.[4] They occasionally spit clouds of acid at him. Like their standard counterparts, they are highly resistant to physical attacks due to their tough skin.[3] However, they are vulnerable to Electricity, Fire, Ice, and Water-based attacks, which will cause them to turn white and temporarily disable their resistance to physical attacks.[5] Additionally, concentrated Light will kill them outright.
