Frita is a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series.[2][3]
Biography
Breath of the Wild
Frita is a traveling Rito woman that is visiting Gerudo Town. She can always be found standing by Estan's Stall, which sells a variety of Roasted Meats. If Link speaks to Frita, she greets him and explains that she wants to use the Gerudo greeting.[4][5][6] However, Frita is worried that she will embarrass herself and feels that it would seem like she is bragging.[7]
Frita then asks Link if he gets many visitors where he is from, commenting that Gerudo Town is drastically different from her home, Rito Village.[8] She explains that she wanted to try the Meat in Gerudo Town, but she is disappointed that they do not have any poultry.[9][10] Despite this, she is still interested in the Meat, staring at it all day and night and believing she would eat three servings if it was her dinner.[11][12] Frita also comments that she does not see any other Rito in the Town and wonders if she is the only one visiting.[13]
Estan notices Frita's dissatisfaction with the wares in her General Store and wonders if she has something against Meat.[1] However, she thinks that would be impossible.[14]
If Link talks to Frita at night, she explains that Rito do not have good night vision, but Gerudo Town's brightly lit environment allows her to see everything.[15] She comments that if Rito Village was brighter, they would be able to go out at night like the Gerudo do.[16]
