Hearty Radishes are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2][3]
Location and Uses
Breath of the Wild
Hearty Radishes are found in the ground in Hyrule Ridge and East Necluda, their location indicated by their stalk. Hearty Radishes are also sold by Beedle at the East Akkala Stable and the General Shoppe. Hearty Radishes can be eaten raw to restore two and a half Hearts. If a Hearty Radish is roasted over a Campfire, it becomes a Roasted Radish. If a Hearty Radish is Cooked in a Cooking Pot, the resulting Food will temporarily increase Link's maximum Hearts.[1] At the Kochi Dye Shop, Hearty Radishes are one of the ingredients that can be used to make Peach Hateno Dye. Hearty Radishes are not required to upgrade any pieces of Armor at a Great Fairy Fountain.
Making Creamy Heart Soup in a Cooking Pot requires Link to use either a Hearty Radish or a Big Hearty Radish.
Tears of the Kingdom
Hearty Radishes appear in Tears of the Kingdom, where they play a similar role to Hearty Radishes in Breath of the Wild. They are still not used to upgrade any pieces of Armor at a Great Fairy Fountain.
