Hello!

Pleased to meet you! I'm known as HelpTheWretched (HTW for short) in the Zelda fan community. That name comes from an early-2000's web cartoon called Radiskull & Devil Doll, and admittedly is a bit awkward to use in self-reference, but its uniqueness has served me well over the years.

I've been playing The Legend of Zelda games since approximately 1991 when I received The Adventure of Link as a gift, though I had experienced the original some time before that. For a fan with such longevity, my Zelda Completion Chart (below) is quite modest. I currently own a Nintendo 3DS and enjoy playing Tri Force Heroes with friends and strangers. Many of my contributions to Zelda Wiki are images and information from that game.

My Nintendo 3DS Friend Code is: 1220-8784-7948

Please contact me with your own Friend Code, if you choose to add mine. I can play Tri Force Heroes in both the North American and European regions.

I own and operate a website called Legend of Zelda Sound Effects, which has—you guessed it—sound effects from the entire series available for download. The site is perpetually outdated, but I still try to make new additions as much as possible!

I have ripped, recorded, and edited together the entire, unreleased Tri Force Heroes soundtrack, available here. I've also made a hack which puts Purple Link back in the game, though it has some unfinished bits and requires custom firmware to use.

If you're feeling heroic, you may want to check out a local multiplayer Zelda fan-game that I made many years ago, called The Legend of Zelda: Two Swords. It's based on assets from Four Swords, but instead features one-on-one battle gameplay and several new colours of Links. The available Beta Demo is fully playable, but is missing several characters and most stages, and needs a few minor bugs fixed, assuming it even runs on modern operating systems. It was never completed because the response, while positive, mostly consisted of demands for online play, which would have fundamentally changed the game's setup.
