History
Princess Zelda can only meet the Blue Fairy if she entered the Cavern with the Magic Arrows in hand. After she defeats a Gibdo with a shot from the Magic Arrows, a Blue Fairy will appear from the corpse of the burnt Gibdo, saying that she was being kept a prisoner by the foe.[1] The fairy, who waves her wand and covers Zelda in a warm blue light, restores the princess's energy and ask her what she is doing in such an evil place.[2] Zelda explains to her about the crystal spell on Link and confesses she does not know what she is looking for.[2] The fairy says she cannot stay with Zelda, but gives her a scroll and promptly disappears.
